Earlier this year, the For Love & Living team were invited to explore Mona Farm, a scenic destination for luxury accommodation and weddings in Braidwood, NSW.
Stay
Scattered amongst sprays of wildflowers, intriguing art sculptures, and sprawling gardens are several individually curated accommodation options, catering to guests of two up to groups of 18. For two nights, we experienced the Lake House, a newly completed guest house overlooking a peaceful lake flanked by sweeping willows and views of the property’s Palladian stone bridge. Sleeping just two, the self-contained Lake House offers guests comfortable indoor and outdoor living, fully-stocked, complimentary minibar, Hunterlab amenities and easy access to the estate’s beautiful gardens. Eat
Mona Farm’s Stay Wine and Dine experience serves up a daily three-course dinner menu and a breakfast at Provisions Braidwood (we recommend the crepes!), designed to showcase the season’s best ingredients and local produce. For a more private affair, Mona Farm's executive chef, Tristan Rebbettes, delights guests with garden picnics, long lunches and fireside dinners set within the property's award-winning grounds. Upon visiting, jump at the chance to go on a farm tour to learn about the property's history, scout out the best spots to say 'I do' and appreciate the scale of the gardens.
Weddings of Note
Weddings take place across Mona Farm's grounds, where couples can curate their dream day with the promise of contemporary accommodation and world-class service.
